Peter Mihalaras aka Pete The Greek

Producer/Mix Engineer

As a musician and a music fan Pete the Greek eventually found his way from a 4 track set up in his bedroom to front of house mixing for live acts.

In 2000 on graduating from SAE (School of Audio Engineering) Adelaide, South Australia he spent the next 12 months working on a variety of collaborative projects with local engineers and producers. The resultant proficiency and familiatiry with a Pro Tools recording platform driving Atlantis Studios towards the D-Command HD3 system currently installed.

Whilst touring Greece in 2001 he had the privilege to work with and learn from some of the most talented industry professionals in the world music scene. He returned from Europe with an idea to build his own studio and share his production experience.

5 years planning ... 3 years building. The Atlantis Studios building was finally completed and commissioned in May of 2008. In the years since opening its doors Atlantis Studios has produced many albums and a variety of educational and corporate work.

Pete with Atlantis Studios currently has the contract with the City of Port Lincoln to run all audio and lighting production as the Technical Director for the Nautilus Arts Centre. Giving him the opportunity to work on some of the greatest production touring the country regionally.

Also, as the Vice Chair and Production Manager of the SALT Festival he works with a great team to bring amazing concepts in Art, Music and Culture to the region. Anything is Possible.
